Rosa Salazar has signed up to appear in future episodes of Parenthood.
The actress has landed a “season-long arc” in the NBC drama, according to TV Line.
She is expected to play Zoe, a girl working at the coffee cart in Julia’s law office.
Zoe is reportedly pregnant but is considering whether or not to give the baby up for adoption.
The news has prompted rumors that Julia (Erika Christensen) and Joel (Sam Jaeger) will be keen to adopt Zoe’s baby following their struggles to conceive.
Parenthood’s executive producer Jason Katims has previously teased that it won’t be “easy” for Julia and Joel to adopt a child.
Salazar recently appeared in an episode of Law & Order: Los Angeles but is a relative newcomer.
The new season of Parenthood, which will also feature an appearance from Brittany Belt, will premiere on September 13 on NBC.
