The romantic fantasy Beastly has been available for pre-order for a few weeks, but we finally have the official details from Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. The movie will be released on DVD and Blu-ray on June 28.

Based on the New York Times bestseller of the same name, Beastly stars Alex Pettyfer (I Am Number Four) as a weathly New York teen who seems to have everything, until a curse transforms his good-looking face into one that’s almost unrecognizable and he’s left to find true love.

Rated PG-13, the film also stars Justin Bradley, Mary-Kate Olsen, Vanessa Hudgens, Peter Krause (TV’s Parenthood), Lisa Gay Hamilton and Neil Patrick Harris.

The DVD and Blu-ray will include the same special features:

* alternate ending
* deleted scenes
* Kristina and the Dolls music video for “Be Mine”
* featurette “A Classic Tale Retold: The Story of Beastly”
* and featurette “Creating the Perfect Beast.”

As we reported in March, the DVD will be priced at $28.95 and the Blu-ray at $34.95, which Amazon has discounted to $17.99 and $22.99, respectively, as of this writing.
