Alexandra Daddario is excited about causing some drama on one of our favorite dramas.
The actress has landed a multiple episode arc on Parenthood and told me over the phone last week her Rachel – a receptionist as the Luncheonette – will create some “problems” for Adam and Crosby. As a love interest for the former, perhaps?
No comment, Daddario said.
“She’s very invested in the music business,” Daddario said. “She’s passionate about it and she’s just a girl trying to figure her life out… but she does cause some friction between characters.”
Already a fan of Parenthood before signing on, Daddario appreciates how “relatable” the show remains, saying it “doesn’t ever go to a place that’s crazy, or beyond an understanding of where everyone is coming from.”
That’s quite the departure from Daddario’s next big screen role: she just wrapped shooting on Texas Chainsaw Massacre 3D. It comes out in October 2012.
